“Fast And Furious” Will Now Be An… Animated Series???

YES! It is true…

Netflix has confirmed a new, animated series of Fast And Furious, is officially coming to the billion dollar streaming service.

According to AM New York, the show will follow a teenage Tony Toretto as tries to infiltrate a crime organization that is masquerading as a racing league. (Tony is Dom Toretto’s cousin.)

Variety says that Tim Hedrick, the man who wrote for DreamWorks’ “Voltron: Legendary Defender” series along with Bret Haaland, who produced DreamWorks’ animated shows “All Hail King Julien” and “The Penguins of Madagascar,” will be in position as the executive producers and show-runners for the new Fast & Furious.

As a whole, Fast And Furious has earned a total of over $5 billion worldwide over it’s eight films so far. The next film is set for July 2019, F&F 9  in April 2020 and 10 in April 2021, they say.

Original F&F show stars Vin Diesel, Neal Moritz and Chris Morgan, will also serve as producers on the animated series coming to Netflix.
